A little one and a bigger one {Brisbane Birthday Party}

On a rainy but warm April day, friends and family gathered to celebrate two birthdays a generation apart. This father and son had a festive party with fresh and delicious food prepared by a wonderful caterer who cooks with love. A tower of cakes topped with a cute icing pair, and all round warm hospitality and vibes of nearest and dearest in a beautiful home.

Suko & Andy {Brisbane Engagement Portraiture}

Suko and Andy were recently engaged, and received a gift voucher for engagement portraits from a friend. Suko loves photos, but Andy on the other hand shies away from the camera. We decided to keep things relaxed and simple with a casual outdoor photoshoot. Kangaroo Point cliffs provided the perfect backdrop with its mix of natural beauty including the river, cliffs, gardens, mangroves and beautiful under cover pagodas to keep us out of the rain. We wandered down the river banks exploring, admiring the city views, enjoying the river breeze and finding hidden garden, and captured some beautiful and fun photos along the way. These two are such a fun couple to be around, and Suko is always ready to try something new. They’re off on a 6 month around the world adventure before their wedding, the perfect way to spend an engagement!

Enjoy : )

Samika {Brisbane Newborn Portraiture}

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting 3 week old Samika. It was her first time out and about, and she was alert and looking around.  We created a beautiful series of photos that capture different elements of her personality at this unique time. Mum and dad love the natural photos, which tell the story of life with their new baby. Her myriad of expressions change every second, and communicate so much. Much love and cuddles for Samika.

Sneak Peek – Old Hollywood Glamour {Brisbane Wedding Editorial}

Inspired by Hollywood glamour, vintage movie bombshells, and French elegance…here is some gorgeous wedding inspiration!

On Tuesday I was lucky enough to collaborate with an amazing creative team for a old Hollywood Glamour inspired wedding editorial photoshoot. Thanks to everyone involved, and to Nicole for being such a fabulous organiser. It all came together so beautifully.
